Motion Blur

This images shows a subway car whizzing past a station. This was acheived by using a moderately long shutter speed(around 1 second). This causes the car to appear moving while the station poles are still.

Depth of Field

These two images display a contrast in depth of field. In the image on the right the towel is in focus while the image on the right shows the background in focus. The right image shows a greater depth of field.
